On 28th April 2018, Saturday; Jeannie Tan, is hearing impaired, attached to her own business for selling a graphics and a printing as a marketing management gave a very interesting business talk, on the topic ‘How to make a small business from zero.' The workshop is a smooth attracted mixed participated from the Deaf and a hearing community.

In Malaysia, the government encourages our hearing impaired for building our new business. Most of hearing people have a lot of businesses but she does not see their hearing impaired's talent and management for their own business. She even saw a few hearing impaired business from Penang, Ipoh, and Kuala Lumpur. Therefore that, she dreamed and wished that our Deaf community should be building new business for stand up and an independent in the future.

This was held in the love room of YMCA Penang. The Business talk, if our hearing impaired can possible to make a Deaf business in Malaysia for Deaf Awareness. She is really willing to share her experience with us who participated the workshop but she does not share her private and confidential business. In addition that, She has prepared the sample to us for showing and understanding.

I am Deaf participated and the first time that she is an amazing her own business since she built her company in 7 years. That is really awesome and good stability in her business. After the session that, we have frequently asked questions (FAQ) with her in several minutes. Eventually, I believed that she has a lot of experiences through her 7 years and support her that she will be building a big company from a small company.

We thanked Samuel Chew as well for interpreting for a hearing community. The hearing participants had fun and learned something from her role model in the business of Malaysia. And they are an awareness that the Deaf women can do her own business. We hope that this workshop will bring great benefits and the greater chance for our new business one day.
